</div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Oh gosh I know I've been so rubbish recently, but I'm back! Stay tuned till the end to hear/see my excuses and ramblings/photos about where I've been :)</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-d9qU5p3maHA/Ti3ZPwXzrQI/AAAAAAAAAYU/0o08RNiz2xM/s1600/DSCF2790.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em; text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><img border="0" height="354" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-d9qU5p3maHA/Ti3ZPwXzrQI/AAAAAAAAAYU/0o08RNiz2xM/s640/DSCF2790.JPG" width="640" /></span></a><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><b><br />
</b></span><br />
<div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">But first </span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">of all I won the Witch anti-blemish liquid concealer from <a href="http://www.dottiek.com/">Dottie K</a> a couple of weeks ago and it was there waiting for me when I got home from my holiday in Devon. I was really excited when I found out about the new cosmetic range that Witch were launching because (I think) the Witch concealer stick was my first ever item of make-up! I didn't like it very much but that's a different story...</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I've got to admit, I didn't expect this to be amazing. I've only seen one review on it (in a magazine) and I've not heard any bloggers talking about it so I thought it would be as awful as the stick concealer but wow was I wrong! It's AMAZING! I've been using it under my eyes and to cover my blemishes from previous spots and it works so well. It gives a really good coverage and lasts all day. I'd say it's better than the famous Collection 2000 lasting perfection concealer! It has a brush applicator and you twist the bottom for the concealer to come out. I'm not a massive fan of things like this with brush applicators because they get dirty and they're hard to clean. I clean my make-up brushes all the time because of the old make-up and germs on them but all that has to stay on this so that's a bit of a shame but the quality of the concealer makes up for that. </span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">It's also a thicker consistency than I thought it would be which was a surprise but it doesn't effect it at all. </span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-_42o5VBeRm0/Ti3ZETSW44I/AAAAAAAAAYM/38uqxkDXBek/s1600/DSCF2774.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-_42o5VBeRm0/Ti3ZETSW44I/AAAAAAAAAYM/38uqxkDXBek/s640/DSCF2774.JPG" width="640" /></span></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I cannot tell you how much I love this. It doesn't look cakey even if you layer it up and it doesn't make my skin dry at all like concealers normally do.</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The only thing I would say is that I'm not a fan of the smell. It smells a bit like flowers which some people may like but personally I hate the smell of flowers. I've had quite a few products with this kind of smell recently and for some reason I really dislike it, but then I am a bit strange!</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Oh and I'm really pale (I've never found a foundation light enough for my skin tone) so even though I got this in 'light' I expected it to be to dark but it's actually just right or maybe even very slightly to light so unless you're really pale I would definitely opt for 'medium.' It's a shame they don't do it in darker tones as a lot of people will miss out on this amazing concealer!</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I can't really comment on how well it 'targets spots' but if the concealer's this amazing, who cares?!</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-gRpEmyZE93E/Ti3ZIfIOMMI/AAAAAAAAAYQ/XC3qSe0E4dw/s1600/DSCF2785.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-gRpEmyZE93E/Ti3ZIfIOMMI/AAAAAAAAAYQ/XC3qSe0E4dw/s640/DSCF2785.JPG" width="640" /></span></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><i>On a bum note, my Rimmel Exaggerate Waterproof Eye Definer broke :(</i></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><b>LIFE</b></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">So my dad booked a last minute holiday and I really mean last minute... like booked it the day before we left. It was a bit of a mad, crazy rush and I didn't really have time for it to sink in whereas usually I have about a years build up to a holiday! </span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">It was SO nice to get away for the week and I met some lovely people who made the holiday extra special. I only went with my dad & brother (long story) so we all wanted to do different things.</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Dad: "golf"</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Brother: "park"</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Me: "spa"</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">So I spent a majority of it on my own whilst they went and did boy stuff but like I said, it was nice. It was good to have some time on my own to think about things and meet some new people.</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">While I was there I got a phone call telling me I got the job I previously posted about so I'm really happy about that!</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">When I come back from holidays I'm always down in the dumps though :(</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">It's like on holiday you have this whole other life where you go out in the evenings, you meet new people, you can just walk down to the beach and the people you meet know nothing about you or your past. I just love it. It's a completely different atmosphere. Then when you get home it's a bit like.. oh, this is my <b>real</b> life. Sad times! I've also lost touch with a couple of people I met. When I was there I didn't bother to give them my number because they were just people I bumped into every day and spent time in the evenings with if I was on my own but now I'm home I actually miss bumping into them all the time :(</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">So yes, that's what I've been doing for the last week or so and that's my excuse for not posting :)</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I've decided, that in a few years time, I'm going to audition to be a Red Coat/Trouper/Holiday park person! It's on my list of things I really want to do in life along with volunteering abroad and at festivals. <span class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: 14px;">♥</span></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: 14px;"><br />

</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Little life update: I went to Alton Towers to see The Black Eyed Peas, LMFAO, Labrinth and Parade a few days ago which was absolutely insanely amazing! There was lots of shuffling, confetti, blow up zebras and a guy with a box on his head. I won't waffle on about it too much because I've wrote all about it on my other blog which you can find <a href="http://jemmasays.blogspot.com/">here</a>. There's pics too! </span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Apart from that I've just been having lots of lazy, pajama, no make up, frizzy hair days...</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Oh and I have a job interview tomorrow! I'm terrified.</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">ANYWAY on to the more interesting stuff, I went shopping yesterday mainly because I needed a shirt to wear to my job interview as I don't own anything smart and also because I needed to return some shoes to Miss Selfridge. I bought the shoes a few months ago so they weren't keen on refunding me but they had literally fallen apart and I'd hardly worn them so they agreed to let me pick some other stuff in exchange for the shoes. The shoes were only £16 and as you guys probably know, finding something for under £16 in Miss Selfridge isn't easy! I ended up picking a plain white vest top for £12 and some sale jewellery (I actually went over by £1.) I picked up these two bracelets for £2. The red one has a bird and a pearl on and the pink one has a big pink stone and a star on. Then I picked up this really long gold necklace with quite a creepy looking claw type hand thing holding a blue stone which was £3.</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-TH-KUFwdwgE/ThnpS_1ehwI/AAAAAAAAATU/jYSqyfg43NY/s1600/DSCF2388.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-TH-KUFwdwgE/ThnpS_1ehwI/AAAAAAAAATU/jYSqyfg43NY/s640/DSCF2388.JPG" width="480" /></span></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-TEUayURwYHI/Thno7pN2z0I/AAAAAAAAATM/Xc4ImfJzFnI/s1600/DSCF2362.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><img border="0" height="369" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-TEUayURwYHI/Thno7pN2z0I/AAAAAAAAATM/Xc4ImfJzFnI/s640/DSCF2362.JPG" width="640" /></span></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I then headed into Boots and got something I've wanted for ages! It's the Natural Collection Duo Eyeshadow in Mocha/Latte which was £1.99. I love it. I only wear neutrals on my eyes and although I now have millions of MUA eyeshadows, they're all glittery and I wanted something a bit more matte and natural looking.</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-TH-mA83rvyY/ThnqWxDuB4I/AAAAAAAAATY/_7scrMjO5F4/s1600/DSCF2374.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-TH-mA83rvyY/ThnqWxDuB4I/AAAAAAAAATY/_7scrMjO5F4/s640/DSCF2374.JPG" width="640" /></span></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-NI5i6LEOTnQ/ThnqbmN6XJI/AAAAAAAAATc/MVuGWSvzcoE/s1600/DSCF2376.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-NI5i6LEOTnQ/ThnqbmN6XJI/AAAAAAAAATc/MVuGWSvzcoE/s640/DSCF2376.JPG" width="640" /></span></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">But like all other Natural Collection products it fell out of the packaging as soon as I got it. They definitely need to invest in some better glue!!</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-D14J-aN3uFk/Thnrf5yul7I/AAAAAAAAATg/wZfGI1WZXd0/s1600/DSCF2378.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-D14J-aN3uFk/Thnrf5yul7I/AAAAAAAAATg/wZfGI1WZXd0/s640/DSCF2378.JPG" width="640" /></span></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Lastly, I headed to Primark. I got two white shirts for my interview and 6th form in September. I also got some pajama shorts. I got these shorts in different patterns a few months ago for £5 but these were in the sale for £2 (for the pack of two) so I thought I'd grab them. They're really thin and the white ones are pretty see through but for £2 to wear to bed, who cares?!</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-CtQvmVvYeOk/ThnsoQZbNdI/AAAAAAAAATk/TTrSVWAN5B0/s1600/DSCF2380.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><img border="0" height="470" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-CtQvmVvYeOk/ThnsoQZbNdI/AAAAAAAAATk/TTrSVWAN5B0/s640/DSCF2380.JPG" width="640" /></span></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I also repurchased my trusty exfoliating gloves for £1. I use these as part of my every day skin care routine and don't know what I'd do without them! They make such a difference to my skin and I've been using them for ages. Just thought I'd get a new pair because my others don't seem to exfoliate as well after using them for a few months. I did go into Boots and stroke some of their exfoliating gloves to see the difference and they were a lot rougher. I guess you get what you pay for but for £1 you can't really go wrong! Plus, they make me feel like Michael Jackson!</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-tagJosEuERw/ThntuG6hUxI/AAAAAAAAATo/J9jw6SJlUjY/s1600/DSCF2363.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-tagJosEuERw/ThntuG6hUxI/AAAAAAAAATo/J9jw6SJlUjY/s640/DSCF2363.JPG" width="640" /></span></a></div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/7073275254048534627-2744704677505617724?l=lifeofanotsoordinarygirl.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>jemhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15288796536321065197noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7073275254048534627.post-24908362642150296982011-07-04T12:08:00.000-07:002011-07-04T12:23:08.385-07:002011-07-04T12:23:08.385-07:00MUA Haul!<div style="text-align: center;"><b><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: purple; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Most of you will know about MUA (Make Up Academy) and their £1 make-up range in Superdrug. It comes with a double ended eye shadow brush and it has instructions of where to put each colour on the back which is handy! I think this is ideal for creating a purple smokey eye look because you've got all the colours you need in one place so don't need to go looking for colours in different palettes!</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-8TfQJN96JIA/ThIH7-npP4I/AAAAAAAAARs/0n3Pg9ZoKFg/s1600/1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-8TfQJN96JIA/ThIH7-npP4I/AAAAAAAAARs/0n3Pg9ZoKFg/s400/1.jpg" width="307" /></span></a></div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />

It's crazy how it works. You put it on and it just looks like a normal nail polish and then all of a sudden it starts.. cracking... it's amazing! I just sat there watching it, haha. Seemed to last a long time too, so if you're wanting a nail quake polish definitely look into MUA rather than forking out £ for other brands that do the same job.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-VS-9v89jY4o/ThIH8nyjlhI/AAAAAAAAAR0/qVdzM93KFSU/s1600/3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-VS-9v89jY4o/ThIH8nyjlhI/AAAAAAAAAR0/qVdzM93KFSU/s320/3.jpg" width="172" /></span></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />

I've never had a brown eyeliner before.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-8ueiRk6q0_0/TgnuX2uhEUI/AAAAAAAAAOU/Y52g8vo9hR4/s1600/this.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"></a><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-chlj1rugDnw/TgnuYKKmKbI/AAAAAAAAAOY/zOw3S4LNK-c/s1600/this1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="38" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-chlj1rugDnw/TgnuYKKmKbI/AAAAAAAAAOY/zOw3S4LNK-c/s320/this1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I'm pleasantly surprised, I really like the brown! It's doesn't look so harsh and it's not noticeably brown if that makes sense? </div><div style="text-align: center;">This is a product I use every day and I think it's the first product I've ever re-purchased! I don't get spots often very more but I was looking for something to prevent them at all. I wet my face, dot this all over face, use my exfoliating glove to massage it in and then wash it off. It makes my skin feel really clean, toned and removes make-up really well. However, I wasn't sure if this was actually working to prevent spots because I don't get many anyway. </div><div style="text-align: center;">BUT THEN</div><div style="text-align: center;">My hair was at a really annoying length where the ends were just at the top of the back of my t shirt and was causing me to get spots on my neck/top of my back which I was really conscious of if I was wearing a low backed top. Google suggested not using your usual soap on it because that could make things worse so I thought I'd try this and it worked! Now, every time I have a shower I put this on the top of my back and then wash off and it really seems to clean it without making it worse and it's just worked miracles! It's prevented them completely. </div><div style="text-align: center;">Really recommend this if you have problems with acne (anywhere on your body) and it's Boots own make so it's pretty cheap too! I also love how this foams up. Doesn't smell/look amazing but that doesn't really matter to me because I'd rather they didn't add extra ingredients just to make it smell nice! :)</div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/7073275254048534627-4810744900692778048?l=lifeofanotsoordinarygirl.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>jemhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15288796536321065197noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7073275254048534627.post-19664541485057258052011-06-14T08:01:00.000-07:002011-06-14T08:01:40.969-07:002011-06-14T08:01:40.969-07:00Boots Expert Scar Care Serum<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-y69mH9qAQ6M/Tfd2WVIg45I/AAAAAAAAANc/ak4gB7PaELA/s1600/aaa.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-y69mH9qAQ6M/Tfd2WVIg45I/AAAAAAAAANc/ak4gB7PaELA/s320/aaa.jpg" width="113" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">OK I got this because I have really sensitive skin and whenever I have spots they leave scars on my face. Therefore, I ALWAYS looks like I've got spots on my chin. In actual fact they're just scars :(</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I hate them and they are the thing I dislike most about my face so I purchased this hoping that it would fade them! It says you should have results after 3 months and I've only been using it for a month (nothings happened so far.) HOWEVER I was applying it all over my face because the scars were all over and I discovered this is an amazing moisturiser! And I mean AMAZING. Best moisturiser I've ever used and I now use this religiously. I get no where near so much build up of dry skin so don't have to exfoliate so often, my make-up goes on smoother and my skin just feels SO soft.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">It looks like this, it's a clearish yellowish liquid that goes on clear.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-wbVxWou0sF8/Tfd2YIy3weI/AAAAAAAAANg/bOSmQtwKrVE/s1600/a.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="129" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-wbVxWou0sF8/Tfd2YIy3weI/AAAAAAAAANg/bOSmQtwKrVE/s200/a.jpg" width="200" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> Although it's liquid it's not majorly runny and the only way I can describe the smell is hospitalish... When you rub it in it feels really weird, I just can't explain it. It's kind of sticky but not and wet but dry :S You wouldn't have a clue what I was talking about unless you have it and it doesn't effect it at all as it blends in pretty quick so you can't feel the 'feel' anymore :)</div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/7073275254048534627-1966454148505725805?l=lifeofanotsoordinarygirl.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>jemhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15288796536321065197noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7073275254048534627.post-11752236530138994442011-06-10T06:17:00.000-07:002011-06-12T14:31:20.823-07:002011-06-12T14:31:20.823-07:00N.Y.C. Haul<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><b><u>Eyeliner Duet - 885 Islands In The Stream</u></b></div><div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">As you can see, I've lost the lid. Annoying, it was loose as soon as I got this. The one end is black and the other is an emerald green. I've not used the green end because I'm not a fan of coloured eyeliner, the black seems good though. I used it on my waterline and it went on easily and seemed to stay on really well. Overall, really like this it's just a bit long as it's got the two ends which is annoying. When I'm applying the black end, the green end keeps banging on the mirror! :)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-lnNcJLlfmmM/TfIW2fhoiYI/AAAAAAAAALY/4FDHTxE_sz4/s1600/1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="49" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-lnNcJLlfmmM/TfIW2fhoiYI/AAAAAAAAALY/4FDHTxE_sz4/s320/1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br />

I've not used them yet because I'm saving them for my birthday but (as you can see in the picture) they look quite thick and the varied eyelash lengths do make them look quite natural. I'm looking forward to wearing these!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

I was really excited about this because I've never had a mosaic blusher/bronzer before. Unfortunately, this is quite awful. You can't really tell from the swatch but it's bright orange! May suit some people. I can get away with it if I use it REALLY lightly. :l</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-njXRErNgFI8/TfIakmdOYII/AAAAAAAAALk/A2jZGdbLUB4/s1600/3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="153" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-njXRErNgFI8/TfIakmdOYII/AAAAAAAAALk/A2jZGdbLUB4/s320/3.jpg" width="320" /></a><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-5JHly8T8qeo/TfIbGtARIAI/AAAAAAAAALo/9zyCrxJ35qY/s1600/3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-5JHly8T8qeo/TfIbGtARIAI/AAAAAAAAALo/9zyCrxJ35qY/s1600/3.jpg" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><u><b>City Mono Eye shadows - 906 Luxury Reborn</b></u></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Again, I was excited about this because I LOVE brown eye shadows. This however turns a bronze colour when applied which I'm not keen on. I've been combining it with a darker brown or black and it looks quite nice though. The packing is very sturdy and it comes with a small, 2 ended eye shadow applicator which is handy!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-MoWiUIjbuuI/TfIb-JQw0kI/AAAAAAAAALw/uBXq_9Lydbo/s1600/3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-MoWiUIjbuuI/TfIb-JQw0kI/AAAAAAAAALw/uBXq_9Lydbo/s320/3.jpg" width="301" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-7bcBHcDcEeY/TfIb1UPkWbI/AAAAAAAAALs/6Ntuy86PS80/s1600/3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="145" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-7bcBHcDcEeY/TfIb1UPkWbI/AAAAAAAAALs/6Ntuy86PS80/s200/3.jpg" width="200" /></a><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Py3h8w9Euyg/TfIcM478_GI/AAAAAAAAAL0/SdmF7Vndqxk/s1600/3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Py3h8w9Euyg/TfIcM478_GI/AAAAAAAAAL0/SdmF7Vndqxk/s1600/3.jpg" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><u><b><br />
</b></u></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><u><b>Lipstick - 419 English Rose</b></u></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">This lipstick seems quite moisturising. It didn't dry my lips out like lipsticks normally do, but the colour really isn't as nice as the name makes it sound. It's a bright pink with a sheen look to it it... it reminds me of something my nan would wear. I would definitely buy these lipsticks though, just in a different colour :) The lid kept falling off this as well (like the eyeliner) which is why it's all messed up at the top. It decided to colour my whole make-up bag and it's contents in bright pink. Woo.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ED0GKsop2Iw/TfId3bAV3VI/AAAAAAAAAL4/gaokEIqmb_s/s1600/3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="84" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ED0GKsop2Iw/TfId3bAV3VI/AAAAAAAAAL4/gaokEIqmb_s/s320/3.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

</b></u></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><u><b>Quick Dry Nail Polish - 246 Park Ave</b></u></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I LOVE this! I put it on as soon as I got it! It reminds me of Barry M - Mushroom.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">It's a muted grey/purple... slightly more purple than Mushroom but still really like it! (I love the name to)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Excuse the messy lid :)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ArYKwURjDrk/TfIevIpCu5I/AAAAAAAAAL8/79Mu9dfxyMg/s1600/3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ArYKwURjDrk/TfIevIpCu5I/AAAAAAAAAL8/79Mu9dfxyMg/s320/3.jpg" width="133" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><u><b>Kiss Gloss - 529 Sugar Hill Shine and Lippin' Large Lip Plumper</b></u></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Both of these lip glosses are really cute. Kiss Gloss is supposed to smell fruity but it just smells like lipgloss to me, whereas Lippin' Large smells like mint. Kiss Gloss doesn't give a lot of colour, mainly a lot of glitter. Whereas Lippin' Large is less glitter, more colour! Lippin' Large is supposed to be a Lip Plumper but it doesn't really seem to change my lips? That's OK though because that's not what I would use it for :)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">WARNING: they're both pretty sticky!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-mgM87dYDY3s/TfIgb5OAwkI/AAAAAAAAAMA/dVT165feFNs/s1600/3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="222" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-mgM87dYDY3s/TfIgb5OAwkI/AAAAAAAAAMA/dVT165feFNs/s320/3.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Lippin' Large Kiss Gloss</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-vOh3ehEDT-s/TfIgmRNldTI/AAAAAAAAAME/PQZFSE59Dk4/s1600/3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-vOh3ehEDT-s/TfIgmRNldTI/AAAAAAAAAME/PQZFSE59Dk4/s1600/3.jpg" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><u><b>Skin Matching Adapting Technology Foundation - 685 Fair</b></u></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I'm surprised with this foundation! It actually matched my skin tone! That never happens for me with foundation because I'm so pale. I love the smell of this aswell, I can't explain what it smells like but just trust me when I say it's nice! Haha :) It's your average foundation really, doesn't do anything amazing. However, if you apply to much in certain areas it creates what I call, 'foundation worms' where basically in just peels off in little bits and can be a bit of a nightmare. I think this was worse when I used my foundation brush. It can also look a bit patchy and uneven. If you've got a lot of time to do your make up then it would probably be fine but if you're rushed, I wouldn't recommend it because I found I had orange blotches on my face by the end of the day! Still not sure about this so I'm going to keep using it I think. The foundation also has vitamins A, C and E in... I'm not really sure what that does, but it sounds good! :)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">OH and make sure you shake it before you put it on because as you can see in the photo it's gone a bit dodgy at the bottom because I've not worn it for a while.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-s5pyjfbMWPA/TfIipYCDwBI/AAAAAAAAAMI/12Ia2bVLUiU/s1600/3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-s5pyjfbMWPA/TfIipYCDwBI/AAAAAAAAAMI/12Ia2bVLUiU/s320/3.jpg" width="166" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

</div><div style="text-align: center;">My jewellery came in the cutest little daisy print bag:</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Whw4X1X095s/TfDSxxXuKxI/AAAAAAAAAKs/m8aI5IjvSNM/s1600/DSCF1696.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="208" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Whw4X1X095s/TfDSxxXuKxI/AAAAAAAAAKs/m8aI5IjvSNM/s320/DSCF1696.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I got this necklace which is quite long (it doesn't have a clasp on!) and it's in a kind of rustic colour. I'm absolutely <b>in love</b> with this. This was £10 which I wouldn't normally pay for a necklace but I think this is definitely worth it.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-5Xz0gJTsvlA/TfDUGZdfJQI/AAAAAAAAAKw/NpSapjs91OM/s1600/husd.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="187" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-5Xz0gJTsvlA/TfDUGZdfJQI/AAAAAAAAAKw/NpSapjs91OM/s320/husd.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">I then got this necklace which was only £3 and is a lot less in your face than the other one. It's the same kind of colour and I've only<i> just realised it's got a cat on?!</i> :S</div><div style="text-align: center;">This one DOES have a clasp on and it's got a really cute little "made with love" thing on! Aww :)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-uXz-LuNl28s/TfDVGt--S6I/AAAAAAAAAK0/YYI8r_qeIWQ/s1600/husd.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="206" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-uXz-LuNl28s/TfDVGt--S6I/AAAAAAAAAK0/YYI8r_qeIWQ/s320/husd.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">The last piece of jewellery I got was this ring. I've seen a lot of these around lately but I like the fact that this one's handmade rather than just bought from Primark (not that there's anything wrong with that.) This was only £3 :)</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-BPyoiwWYnKY/TfDV4NviEYI/AAAAAAAAAK4/noiDkvEbvsM/s1600/husd.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="133" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-BPyoiwWYnKY/TfDV4NviEYI/AAAAAAAAAK4/noiDkvEbvsM/s320/husd.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Right now on to the last thing I bought which I'm obsessed with! I fell in love with this as soon as I saw it but it was £15 so I didn't pick it up. I expected it to be gone by the time I came back but about 3 hours later just before the end of the fair it was STILL there! I just had to get it, I think it's beautiful. Yes it's green and old but I don't care, I love it! It's genuine vintage and smells like old people/books/library's and... I love it! (If you hadn't already figured that out) :)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-TcbUokeLhKs/TfDXKWZ3jMI/AAAAAAAAAK8/3OcgaTkTCbg/s1600/husd.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="161" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-TcbUokeLhKs/TfDXKWZ3jMI/AAAAAAAAAK8/3OcgaTkTCbg/s400/husd.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><br />
I'll definetley be going to the vintage fair next time it comes back! Have a look at <a href="http://www.thevintagefair.com/">this website</a> to see if there's one near you :)<br />
